The Hunt
If you dream of spending time in the outdoors hunting with a bow, or participating in target archery but thought it was impossible because of physical limitations, or if you desire a quality outdoor experience in pursuit of North Dakota white-tail deer, your dream has come true.
When is the Hunt
The Hunt is the last full weekend of September.
Who can hunt
This hunt is for the physically challenged. Anyone over 14 with a disability is eligible. Hunters are welcome to bring a companion or volunteers along with them to enjoy the weekend together. Hunters are chosen on a first-come-first-serve basis with new hunters getting priority. Past hunters will be put on a waiting list.
What to expect
This hunt will be open to 12 hunters along with their companion.
o Tent camping in canvas wall tents, mattress provided
o Electricity in each tent
o Running water and handicap accessible shower
o Meat from harvested deer go home with the hunter, freezer-ready.
o 3-D target practicing
o Campfire, weather permitting
o Saturday night open house, silent and live auction and banquet.
What to bring
Twist of Fate will provide:
o Deer license fees (North Dakota residents buy their own licenses and will be reimbursed)
o Meals
o Guide services
o Meat processing
o Lodging
You will need to provide:
o Good sleeping bag and pillow
o Hunting clothes
o Transportation to and from the camp
o Personal Items (toiletries, towel ect.)
